Wagrain in winters

Especially for guests who want to visit Wagrain in winters are a lot of different possibilities for entertainment. This is because Wagrain is located in the middle of the Salzburger Sportwelt Amade. This means for example you can use all pists of the whole Sportwelt Amade with only one Skipass. 360 deversified pists with more than 860 km to ski. 270 lifts transport you from the dale to the top of our mountains. Skibusses operate continously between the different railway stations in Wagrain. Certainly this service is free for all guests. The next Skibus Stop is about 200m away from our house.
The railway station Flying Mozart is only 5 min. away from us (by foot). This station transport you on the top of the wagrainer Griessenkareck. From there you can enjoy your ski-run down to Flachau, Wagrain od Moadörfl. So three different pists are reachable from there.

The center of Wagrain is approximately 840m above sealevel. So don't worry about the snow conditions. It's no problem in Wagrain.

The cross-country ski run "Tauernloipe" is for all those who like cross-country skiing more than skiing. This run is more than 50 km long a guide you through the winter landscape and deversified country structures. Especially the cross-country ski run to Kleinarl which is 12 km long is very popular.
